If you’ve been in real estate in Tennessee these past couple of years, you already know… this market hasn’t been easy.
Deals are harder to come by. Clients are slower to move. The energy isn’t what it was a few years ago.
But here’s the truth: this is the kind of market that builds pros.
You can complain to me about anything going on — personally or professionally. You can tell me how tough it’s been. You can even give me your excuses. I’ll listen…
Once.
But the second time you bring it up, come back with how you took responsibility — and what you did about it.
And they don’t have to be big, monumental next steps…
Tiny action steps.
Tiny wins.
Tiny victories.
Done consistently.
Because that’s how every great business — and every great life — gets built: tiny commitments, done consistently.
The world is full of quitters.
Most people don’t want the discomfort. Most people don’t want to take the risk.
But you do.
This market makes professionals.
So keep at it — because eventually, something will have to happen.
Every conversation.
Every follow-up.
Every open house.
Every short video you record — it all matters.
Don’t quit. Don’t shrink.
Tennessee needs agents who care enough to keep going when it’s hard.
Change only requires choice.
So choose to do the next right thing right.
Victory is on its way — stay in the fight.

Amanda Edwards
REALTOR, Listing Specialist
Amanda graduated from The University of Florida with a degree in Agricultural Education and Communications - combining her love for The National FFA Association and agriculture. Between Florida and Tennessee, Amanda spent 5 years in the education system working with the next generation of agriculturalists. Ultimately, Amanda found a new passion - real estate. Flashback to her younger years, she vividly remembers watching the DIY and HGTV channel, where she would recreate crafts with her grandma and even started to combine color swatches and fabric patterns from her grandmother's collection in, pretending to design and remodel imaginatory spaces. Fast forward, Amanda has closed over 100 (might want to get a solid number from Michelle) listings for her sellers and hasn't looked back.
Today, Amanda's day is spent reaching out to current clients, nurturing past clients, and preparing to make an impact with future clients. Amanda has also used her background in education to be a support for newer agents, training newer listing agents on the team. Aside from being on the road or at the office, you'll likely find Amanda with her family on the farm, raising registered and commercial sheep to be sold and shown nationwide. In 2024, Amanda and her family launched Upper Cumberland Homes and have been constructing new builds, focusing on design, functionality, and details. No matter the role, Amanda takes pride in every avenue she dips her toes in to and always here to be a resource to her clients and customers.
