Pick up where we left off
Most people have a friend they don’t see very often but...Every time they reconnect “we pick right up where we left off without skipping a beat”
Your lead follow up and ultimate conversion would get a whole lot easier if you approached it in somewhat a similar way.
Let me explain.
The biggest breakdown, failure or misstep I see time and again in the lead conversion game is lack of consistent follow up.
It’s not a skill issue, it’s pure action but…
There might be a skill issue that is causing the lack of action.
Picking up right where you left off AFTER you have connected on a personal level with your prospect.
Remember something in your meeting or conversation that was personal…not related to real estate whatsoever.
Note that part of your conversation in the CRM and the next time you call them you simply revisit the conversation “where you left off”...
Not related to conversation.
“Hey Mr. Seller, last time we talked you were headed off on vacation. How was the vacation?”
Talk to them like humans. Make the human connection be the first part of every next conversation. You will be more likely to follow up with them.
The biggest reason agents don’t follow up with leads or prospects is because they never connected at a personal level and they feel salesy when making the follow up call so they just don’t do it.
Show a genuine interest in the person you are working with, they will become interested in you and the lead follow up to conversion process will feel more like “picking up where you left off with a friend”
