I know, with all the automations, technology and lead generation tools BESIDES the phone, it’s hard to believe that it is STILL the #1 tool in sales.

And it’s the most uncomfortable. Stands to reason, it works the best so it should be the hardest and most uncomfortable.

I want to go deeper in this quick email and give you some simple framework and philosophy that will make you an elite level salesperson on the phone:
Always come with curiosity vs judgment.
Seek first to understand then be understood, its not about you.
Be the guide not the hero.
Base your next question on their response
Be conscious of your tone and pacing.
Always operate with empathy
The longer you keep them on the phone the more likely it is you will set an appointment.
Never end a conversation without telling them what is going to happen next, whether its an appointment, the next call or something you are going to provide them.
Simple principles to guide you in a marketplace where trust is low, uncertainty is high and the guard of your audience is up.
